1. Welcome Notes

I have just returned from 10 days of being with my father
who is very ill and my stepmother whose focus is totally
on taking the best care possible of my Dad. The
opportunity to simply love and support them was a
magical gift. And very tiring.

My brain has gone on strike, and so this morning, I offer
you simply one of the sweetest gifts of all and ask that you
pass it on.

Welcome to 38 new subscribers. At this time, particularly,
I am grateful for the growing CTJ family. Send the gift in
this CTJ to those you love this week. It can change your
world.

And a reminder to send your celebrations for Celebrating
Out Loud. Just click here:
mailto:celebrations@tothesummit.com so we can share
with all our readers. You never know how important the
celebration of the simple things in life can be to somehow
who is having a difficult time. Let us know the joys and
wins and gifts in your life. They will touch the hearts of
many others.

2. Smile for the Journey!

I spent much of the last 10 days visiting my Dad in a
hospital. His room was on the same floor as the maternity
ward, and often as I entered and left the floor, I heard the
sound of new babies crying or watched mothers-to-be do
laps of the corridor to encourage the child inside to make
a quicker appearance or listened to the excited
conversations of families carrying stuffed animals and
balloons on their way to visit a new addition to their
family for the first time. Many, many smiles happened in
that part of the hospital.

And it made such a difference for me! Even when we
were not sure my father would survive, those smiles were
a light in a dark time.

And that is the nature of a smile that comes from the
heart. It can touch the deepest sadness with a wee bit of
love and hope and joy and caring. It is a gift that gives as
much to the giver as to the receiver. It is a gift without
cost. It is a gift that can touch someone at a profound
level. It is a gift of life.

3. Coaching: Give the Gift of A Smile

There is a combination of joy and sadness in almost
everything in our lives. When we choose to allow
ourselves a glimpse of the joy, even amidst great sadness,
it lightens our burden. A smile lights the way to that
glimpse. It doesn’t change the situation. It does bring a bit
of balance to the challenging times of life. It brings caring
into the pain; connection into the loneliness; love into
the despair.

A smile is a simple thing that reaps great rewards. So
smile this week. Smile at the sound of the wind in the
trees. Smile at a gurgling baby. Smile at your boss. Smile at
your cat as she stalks a mouse in the grass. Smile at a
harassed grocery clerk. Smile at your kids. Smile at the
simple and profound gift of being alive.

And don’t forget to smile at yourself!

The email said, ‘It is raining outside and the sun is
shining in my house.'” Ah, yes, an interior smile in the
midst of exterior tears! mailto:Rlzcoach@aol.com

7. FREE Teleclass on Tolerations

I have moved this teleclass back to April. See below for
time and dates.

Free Your Life: Become A Toleration Free Zone

We humans put up with a lot of stuff in our life. Most of
it just isn’t necessary. Putting up with tolerations wastes
our time and energy, keeps us stuck, causes us grief and
generally gets in the way of having what we really want in
our lives.

This FREE Teleclass is about getting rid of what’s bugging
you!

Topics will include:

What is a toleration?
Why do tolerations drain my energy?
Benefits of being Toleration Free.
How do I identify my tolerations?
Now that I know what they are, what do I do about
them?
Eliminating tolerations
(You will eliminate at least 5 tolerations during
the teleclass.)
Maintaining a toleration free zone

HOW IT WORKS

We will meet via a bridge telephone line on Mondays,
April 9, 16 and 30.

The time of the call is 10:00 am, Eastern time. (That’s 9 am
Central, 8 am Mountain, 7 am Pacific). The class lasts one
hour, and the only cost to you is the telephone call.

The number to call is 702-565-8327. If you’d like to reserve
a spot on the call or have any questions about it, send an
e-mail to teleclass@tothesummit.com stating that.
Otherwise, the class is on a first come, first serve basis.

If you’re unable to attend all 3 calls, feel free to join us for
as many as you can.

The first time you participate in a Teleclass, you will be
entitled to a free follow-up coaching session with Margo.
Work one-on-one with her to solidify and eliminate even
more tolerations!

Margo has a few slots open for motivated clients who
want to create a successful life and have the time to enjoy
it. Every dedicated athlete has a coach. Why not
have a coach for the most important game of all: the
game of life. Visit our website at
